Certified Financial Planner ® | B.Bus | Dip.Bus | Adviser No. 314983

I place a great deal of importance in listening to my clients, to gain an understanding of their situation and what their objectives are – and then educating them so they feel comfortable to make an informed decision.

I very much value and enjoy the long-term relationships I’ve built with many clients, and look forward to building one with you also.

A bit about me professionally…

I’ve been advising clients since 2006 and can assist with all general financial planning matters, such as retirement planning and Centrelink issues.

My speciality is in Aged Care. This is an important service that Goldsborough and I are pleased to be able to provide to clients and/or their families.

If you’re seeking advice on aged care for yourself or a loved one, I’m happy to have a group meeting with all family members who are key to the process.

Working in conjunction with other aged care professionals when needed, my aim is to ensure the best possible outcome by helping you navigate your way through this complicated area.

I regularly host retirement living and aged care seminars in the Goldsborough boardroom, providing general information to help people just starting on the journey.  You can find out more here. I’ve also been a guest speaker on this topic for other groups and organisations.

A bit about me personally…

My family and I are all heavily involved in sport – especially football, cricket and netball. So much of my time away from the office is spent proudly watching and supporting my three children with their sporting commitments. I’m also a keen fisherman and very much enjoy being out on the water catching what’s available, based on the season and location.

You’re retired and you’ve set yourself up well financially. You have no debt, no job to lose, no (or little) taxable income, no kids eating your fridge out and ready access to capital. You’re the envy of every financially stressed 40 year old with years of pressure head of them; possibly your own children. You wonder how you can help but you don’t want to just hand over cash without a purpose, and you also don’t want to create dependency or expectations.
One of the biggest concerns facing Australians approaching retirement is the fear of running out of money. Financial experts have even coined a term for it: FORO (Fear of Running Out). While this anxiety is understandable, research suggests that many retirees may be more financially secure than they realise. By understanding the factors that influence retirement income and longevity, Australians can make more informed decisions and enjoy their retirement with greater confidence.
